Community Partners
Wild Vision identifies and supports students exclusively through partnerships with trusted community organizations, rather than selecting students directly. These partner organizations—often Black-led and embedded in the community—already know the young people and their needs. Wild Vision provides funding, support guidelines, and regular check-in requirements formalized in MOUs, but leaves the selection of scholarship recipients and primary mentorship up to the organizations themselves.
This allows Wild Vision to amplify impact by “being in the background” while partners maintain the essential relationships and do the front-line identification, outreach, and support. The focus is always on empowering local leaders and channeling resources to students through those who know them best.
